Tuesday The Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-30) Wednesday The Last Supper and the institution of communion (Luke 22:1-30). Also the betrayal of Judas (Matthew 26:36-56 or John 18:1-20) Thursday Jesus preaching to the people of Jerusalem and praying for us (John 14-17). Good Friday Jesus’ crucifixion and death on the cross (Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, John 19). Saturday The day that Jesus’ body is lying in the tomb. (Matthew 27:57-66; Mark 15:42-47; Luke 23:50-56; John 19:38-42)
